Enchanted beach
Welcome to our castle,
To our enchanted hideaway.
(Love and laughter is the secret;
Allows each hidden child to play).
Here the tonic for all our cares,
Is plunger coffee and the view.
In the radiance of dawn,
Hopes and dreams drift on the dew.
On our beach we tame white dragons,
In the racing, roiling waves.
Then catch them and fly shore-ward,
On endless summer days.
And even when it’s grey and gloomy,
Sirens sing our blues away.
As wrapped in stinging spray,
We listen for their funeral bray.
And if that’s not enough to do,
We can walk and read and sleep.
Safe in our magic fortress,
We spin memories to eternally keep.
So if you ever need to find us,
This it the only place we’ll be.
You’ll find us Cicada dreaming,
Rocked by the tides of a sighing sea.
